Well for this I used Flash CS5. For some other ones I've done, I did it frame by frame in photoshop CS5 and put the pics together in my editing program. I think I' moving over to flash now because it's so much easier to animate in! I usually do my bgs for my flash animations in photoshop too. c:

I sort of do the same only in toon boom- but my trial's running out soon ;m;
I just sketch it in toon boom and then outline, colour, shade in sai
- i recently got the trial of sony vegas movie studio- which is basically a cheaper
version of pro I believe cx Oh okay, iv'e heard about people using flash lots-
it looks sorta complex ? idk

Just google up "adobe Flash" and it's page should come up 
Ah I've tried toon boom! Really similar to flash but I prefer flash.

I plan to get a flash trial once my toon boom
one is up, the thing is i only use toon boom for sketching my animations so
I don't really think it's worth me paying for the full version- which is why i'm thinking
about getting this version called flip boom studio- which is a cheaper not as good version as
it- but since i'm using it for sketching it may be fine ? idk lel
