I always saw Groudon as being the Pokeverse's version of Godzilla: they're both inherently super-destructive, but lack any real alignment, are giant reptiles, and feed on the natural energy that radiates from beneath the Earth's surface. This is what its like for me with most legendaries sadly.I think that the more pokemon you catch the easier it becomes to catch them?I never really catch that many pokemon during the main storyline,only at the end really,so when it comes to the legendary its just that much harder to catch for me.

I know! My Kyogre's health was just above red. Just a few hits from a psychic attack, and one ultra ball later...shnap~ Gatcha.Β
It was the most intense background and fight I've seen in the Legendaries so far, and yet..such a disappointing catch rate...Lugia was much harder to catch.

Lol thats how I felt with primal groudon in omega ruby it took me 23 ultra balls 23 ULTRA BALLS!!! I mean what the heck?! Mewtwo was easier for me than Primal Groudon. FREAKING GROUDON!

Out of Kyogre, Rayquaza and Deoxys; Kyogre was way too hard, after five resets to capture it in a pokeball. However Deoxys was way too easy D:

rayquaza i didn't even attack him. my ultra ball (somehow) caught him first try in emerald. But not in OR.
Groundon was super hard for me in OR AND Emerald lol.

This is me right now with Deoxys. Rayquaza? Yeah, typically one pokeball. But then we fly straight to Deoxys and it's the most frustrating pokemon that I've ever encountered.
It's nickname WILL be Terror when I catch it and if it has a timid nature or something I'll probably flip a table. xD

My attempt to catch Kyogre was relatively easy. I had my Blaziken hit him with a fire attack, then had my Gardevoir use Hypnosis and I just threw an Ultra Ball.

Somehow, I manage to catch either Azelf or Tornadous with a basic pokeball after many attempts with great and ultra balls...
