Bah hah hah, this is how I felt when trying to capture Groudon. X) Had to use X (my Latios' nickname, by the way) to wall the bastard. Caught the asshat after throwing at least 10 Ultra Balls. I named him Volnutt. (Noticing the theme naming?)

I'd use the masterball for Deoxys, since it's the highest level legendary. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not entirely sure.

Only after paralysis and getting down that fucking whopper of HP, I only had 5 ultra balls after I caught it. T.T

Yeah, same with Groudon...doing a WonderWedlocke and thinking "Nah, i will just catch Groudon, beat the Elite four, get champ and finish this run, then i will get Proto-Groudon"
NO, FUCKING NO, that damn Proto-Groudon killed me any my wonderful team ;___; 4/6 were over Lv65 and i couzld cathc him or kill him, they all were one-hit-KO. ....;______; they had no fire or ground weakness, most of my pokemons where water types!

LOL that made me laugh... makes me feel bad that I threw a random pokeball and got groudon... BUT I have ditto, misdreavus, tentacruel and manitine break out of a total of 50 ultra balls...Β

Not sure if I just got lucky or whether Groudon is just easier but I attacked it 3 times, threw 1 ultra ball, and it was caught. I was kind of disappointed at how easy it was to catch. Normally it takes Β 20-30 minutes at least to catch a legendary.

Took about 35 minutes myself, I ended up using a timer ball out of desperation/stalling for about 10-20 turns...and I got it 8U

Kyogre was a bitch to catch. First time, I accidentally killed it. Second time, it killed me. Third time's the charm... I caught it with a Pokeball at full HP. And yes, I yelled "Gotcha" at it [my friend was like you look like an idiot yelling that at Kyogre. When I caught it, I laughed at her face].
Zekrom, Rayquaza, and Deoxys were so much easier to catch...

I had to reset only one to catch my Kyogre...
ATTEMPT 1: Weakens to Red HP and paralyses, throws about 50 Ultra Balls, Kyogre kills all party members
ATTEMPT 2: Weakens to Red HP (no paralysis), throws one Ultra Ball, insta-catch
This same scenario happened with Rayquaza, Azelf, Heatran and Cobalion... WHY DOES HOENN HATE ME?

That jacket and hat design is absolutely spot on, wow. Look at those colors. Damn, am I glad I got Alpha Sapphire. Every time Kyogre goes primal, I'm like, "PRETTY. :U"
Caught mine in a Net Ball at full health (thanks to Aqua Ring, that stubborn bitch). I only had the one, and I just went, "What the hell, I'll give it a try.", and it worked. Couldn't believe that shit.Β But now she's my baby and yes I call mine a she because I don't fucking know. Her name is Ceto and she is my sea monster baby that wrecks everyone's shit and takes me on magical ocean adventures. She even helped me catch Lugia, what a pal. Get the hell out, Wailmer, I don't even need you.
Hopefully my luck will hold out with Rayquaza, because I plan on saving my Master Ball for Deoxys...

I felt like crying while trying to catch this thing. .-. In the end though I managed to poison it with an ability just as my poison pokemon fainted which was as lucky as hell. It kept using aqua ring but the poison took it down more than it could heal. I screamed silently after I caught it. xD
So...TIP: Get Kyogre down to yellow and poison it.
