I catch that on my first try with a pokeball and at full heath on the first turn. When I said the most stupidest thing "can he be captured? I laughed!

I had the same issue, but I used a method of just wasting pokeballs and ultra balls, before after 30 turns, started using the timer balls and finally got the bastard. XD

I was lucky that I caught Groudon after 4 tries. I accidentally fainted it twice and ran away once (because I thought running would trigger the cutscene, lol) because of my muscle memory. I was so lucky that I caught him because I had 7 ULTRA BALLS in my bag! (and wasting my last 3 Great Balls. I'm saving my money.)Β

In all honesty.I caught Groudon immediately. After about two hours and about 45 Ultra Balls. But what pissed me off? Not the restarts. Not going broke on pokeballs. Not even the absurd amount of time it took. What pissed me off was the fact that after running out of all other balls and the damn thing was awake and green: I caught in a fuckin nest ball.

It was a netball for me, coz i figured that he was a water type so why not? but of course i caught him in a netball after wasting lots of ultra balls :/

Words cannot properly express how much I can relate to this. Β Was forced to use the dange Masterball on that bastard because he kept using Aqua Ring to regenerate from my Metagross' Hold Back attacks and I damn nearly ran out of all my other high-level Pokeballs.Β

Yup, Kyogre was just a royal pain in the ass to catch in my game, too. The hardest of the ~30 Legendaries in the game from my experiences. Heck, your artwork inspired me to nickname my Kyogre Jotaro Kujo. It surprisingly fits.

took me 6 times with Groudon (finally caught him in a premier ball) and God knows how many for Rayquaza and Deoxys (Both pokeballs). I make it a personal challenge to catch all my legendaries in Premier balls or Pokeballs.Β

THREE CONSTANT HOURS OF RESET, QUICK BALL, ULTRA BALL, HE STRUGGLES, FAINT
And when i did catch him...

i caught groudon in i think 2 moves, i got him low first turn, he rested, i threw a poke ball(actual poke ball not ultra or anything), immediately gets caught

I basically did the same thing, except I got him down to low health first. During the fight, my aggron survived an earthquake from it with one health because Pokemon Amie. I'm so proud now.

All the legendaries were hard for me, but I caught them all with timer and quick balls. I have, Deoxys, Groudon, Latias (Latios, but I didn't have to catch him), Rayquaza, Cobalion, and Mesprit.
