The three... Evolutions... of my mitsubishi evolution.
Left is the non widebody version, middle is a widebody version with flaired gaurds, right is the final widebody version with added gaurds, panels, lips, and modified bumpers.

I like the models, good work. my one problem is with the middle car though. above the front left tire on the body itself, it seems like there's a missing/inverted polygon. is that a mistake or is that actually part of the car's design?

sorry but i get a little emotional about evo's.
Im an evo nut. ... im totally crazy about evos... (well all evos up to the 6... 7 and onwards no longer count as evos in my books, just a source for some nifty parts : P)

The eyelids on the headlights look great and ive ALWAYS wanted to know what an evo looked like without the damn evo-spoiler (no pun intended)

My preference would be the middle one, I think. Modified more subtly than the sharply cut off front arches of the right hand one. I don't know whether it's just the lighting but I also pref the darker rims of the middle one, as they offset the colour of the body nicely. The lack of wing - I agree high wings are ugly, but I think it would look nice with a little flick, like on the latest M Sport bodykits. I think the door handles and wing mirrors would benefit from being body colour.
Overall, nice job!

Hah, thanks man. I still think you cant beat the sound of a boxer anyday. I just prefer the styling of the earlier evos. But if I had to choose between a WRX or an Evo, I'd go with the wrx.

Yeah, the early Evos had a distinct style about them. I actually quite like them (GASPZORZ) but considering its rival is the likes of the version 6 STi, there's no contest for me. Definitely want the ver.6 STi. But yes, there is no way you can choose over the asynchronous howl of a Boxer engine's burble...Evos sound a little like in-sink Wastemasters if you put the wrong exhaust on. Lmao.
I'm attempting to turn my HX20s into a ver.6...so far it's not working because the parts tend to be a thousand bucks a piece and I'm b0rk -_____-;;

Hx20 = the 2litre non turbo version, with WRX kit, right? I was tempted to buy one of them a long time ago because of insurance issues with turbo's >_<

Yep, the HX20s is basically a WRX without a turbo...2L engine...mine's sitting in my DA gallery if you're curious. The SRX has the FULL WRX kit minus bonnet scoop gear but they're bloody expensive so I got the HX20s instead. I think the HX20 is the earlier version, and the HX is the 1.8L version from retro-times.
I still wanna get my black version 9 STi one day, but I'll be using my HX as my runaround cuz he's staying n/a. Petrol in NZ is the most expensive in the world so while I love my STis, I'm not dumb enough to have it as my only car...lmao. Insurance for both cars will more than make up for it...but hey, having a v6 and v9 in the same garage evens it out again...

I'll be putting silver stockers on my black v9, no doubt about it. Gold looks BAD on black and white cars...blue and grey can pull it off, but not even silver IMO can do it. I wanna put the silvers on my HX soon, but when I get the v9 I'll switch the wheels around (since they're identical aside from colour) because the HX will be gunmetal by then and can handle gold...lol.

Dunedin here, used to live up in auckland when I was 12 though, in Mt Albert.
IMO the 555 blue is the only colour that can pull off gold mags, and subarus are the only cars I know of that can do it well. They look horrible on other cars. I should try a render of my 3D civic with blue paint and gold mags

Yep, that blue is the only thing that makes gold wheels look HOT. They make the grey look a bit dirty but I reckon my car could pull it off...silver would be best on it though.
That Civic would look pretty wicked in Subie colours indeed...I reckon you should pull it off and see if it does
