Thanks very much! I almost never blow glass alone anymore. It's important to have a good team for when you are blowing glass. I learned primarily at Ohio State, but since then I've moved to Seattle and continue to learn as I work with and for new people. You never do stop learning! I'd be happy to take a look at some of your work. Let me know when you post them and I shall for sure stop by!

this is really wonderful because i can't even understand how you could have had the control of the glass in order to blow something like this. i mean, the fact you could drop something so long (i'm assuming it's dropped not blown that long and thin) and then blow out the bottom as much as you did into the metal restriction without the rest of it cracking... it's just completely mind blowing. i really appreciate how difficult this piece was to make. you ended up with a wonderful piece of art

This piece, in particular, almost ended up on the floor for numerous reasons. It was a close call. But it turned out magnificently given the circumstances, I would say! VERY little chance of recreating it...

This is possibly my favorite piece from the show... It's tremendously hard to photograph though. Because of where it was installed... Very bright backlight on a very skinny wall between two huge windows...

Nothing drastic... Just been working on new work, and living life! I had a travel-filled summer, and am just getting back into the swing of things now that I have a studio space! New work... In the works!
