Yesterday when Alexander asked me how my painting was going, I answered "It's not going to be great. But it will be alright." AND I STAND BY THAT TODAY. It's, you know. Alright.*The setting is based on a photo I saw on Pinterest which I was unfortunately not able to trace to its source, but I'd be happy to update with credit whenever I find out!
Watercolor & Digital.
*I'm not asking to be convinced otherwise! I'd like to be using a different color palette and I slipped back into a comfortable old one instead. But I will use blue someday. This I swear!

The two characters - the human and the cat - are very good. I think I see why you said it wouldn't be great, but I like it.

Greens are so difficult for me, but good gravy you are brilliant with them! Love the peek of the warmer world on the other side of that door.

Thanks, but it's really become a crutch for me. I just paged through stuff I've posted here and I haven't done a painting that tended towards blue or people in fully three years. Or red. But red can bite me.
