Coreena stood next to Ian a moment before she finally spoke. "Is there something wrong? I mean I know your upset because of..." She paused, not wanted to say his fathers name. "Well, I just want to know if there's anything I can do."
"You can't do anything- its already done." Ian said. "I'm a failure to our grandmother, and to our own mother, and now half of my family is lost." he narrowed his eyes, holding back the tears as much as he could. "And if you're going to say mother loves me, don't waste your breath. She doesn't want me near her- in fact, she chased me away from her."
Coreena stood there a minute, letting him fuse. She sat down and looked up at the sky, as if hoping it would give her some answers. "Well, your right. There's nothing I can do to bring your father back, but would he really want you to mourn over his death for so long?" She let her mane ruffle in the wind as she thought of her mother and the rest of her family back at the Icy mountain herd. "You have to look at her side of the story too. You don't know her feelings for you, neither do I. She just wants the best for us. But your father badgered her for a long time when she found my father. My father wasn't to fond of him to say the least. What if she brought you back to our herd? What would my father think?"
"I wouldn't care what he thought! My father did nothing to her! Shes a big, fat cheater and she knows it!" Ian was now growling as he spoke. Coreena was speaking like it was all Noah's fault. It wasn't. He knew it wasn't. His father would never do anything to hurt Garnet. Ian turned away from Coreena.
"She meant what she did. So she did it. She left me to die."
Coreena's lip pulled back over her teeth as a warning. The normally shy sweet filly was not like herself anymore, Ian had pushed her buttons too much. "No one talks about my mom that way!" She growled. "Not even my brother!" She turned to get right up in his face, rather humerous from another's view, a small filly yelling at a colt. "Garnet was so stressed after you left she lost her last foal, she had a miscarrage and could have died!" She looked away, her ears pinned.
One of the guards of the Hawthorn herd galloped over to them, it was the only mare guard Arrow, who had been on watch that night. "Is everything alright here?" She asked Coreena softly, glaring at Ian. Coreena nodded, close to tears. "Everythings fine." She choked, wiping her eyes with her front leg. She turned and began walking back towards her favoite place to be by herslef, a small cluster of trees near the river.
"She was worried about that foal at least! She never cared about me. I was a newborn when she left! So you can go prance back to your stupid mother, because I got my sense from sombody else, apparently!" Ian said, stomping off.
Coreena wanted so bad too turn around and tell him off again, but she would no longer stoop to his level. If he wanted to scream and yell that was his problem. She knew he was wrong, thats all that mattered to her. Slowly she trotted away from everyone else and the foals by herself, not caring that she was wandering into the dark open fields alone. She grinded her teeth. Her stupied brother, his stupied father...I hate them. I only tried to help. Tears again started rolling down her cheeks, She wanted a brother so bad and know she wished she had never met him.She wandered off till her purple form was swallowed up by the shadows, not leaving a trace.

I WANT TO SAY THAT THE BACKGROUND SUUUUCKS. Sorry, Carissa, the scanner ate the colors as well was the detail O____o'
