However, it is possible to open .pmd in blender; and the step of taking .pmx to .pmd is very easy; all you need is PMDEditor_0137e (Or pmxeditor), go to 'F' tab, and then hit 'O', and then you can open the .pmx. When you've opened the .pmx, make sure you have textures, and then hit the 'X' in 'F' and then name it .pmd and presto; you got a .pmd that can be opened in blender (if you have the right plugin, which is Meshio.) i know only 1 way to convert- u need pmx editor, but pmx editor isnt working on my pc
but u can get mikumikumoving, it can also open pmx models ^^
