Another superb waterfall shot...I wish I could see this for myself. I also wish I could see this picture in colour! Do you have one?

Clearly you have worked hard on this and i'm sure its technically v.good but I have to say it doesnt appeal to me. The contrasting is very well done, vut the picture just doesn't appeal to me.

Mabye you just don't like waterfalls?
Art is all about taste. As long as you can't see any technical errors I'm all happy!

Wow that's just beautiful. It feels like something.. mystical and beautiful. Like the kind of nature-y place where you might find fairies.

not often do I get excited over a photo, but this shot gives me an enormous pleasure itΒ΄s just perfect..the exposure is right, the darkness is perfect and the softness in the stream set this shot to one of the best river stream shots IΒ΄v ever seen..congratulations

wow, great shot . This would make a great background for an image.I love how it mixes detail in too, with the rock plants.

My critique? The text at the bottom doesnt really look right. i dunno if its because its too close to the white border or if its my personal dislike of that kind of font.

The water looks like cotton, the way it falls down like that. It's so beautiful...

Neat picture! I like the balance of it, taking up with upper left and the lower right hand side. Looks great!

Just one question, how long an exposure time did you use for this picture? And if you remember the time of day when it was taken...

lexidh In reply to adyus [2004-11-07 15:40:15 +0000 UTC]

It was 2 seconds exposure time and it was taken at about 6PM. That's about when the sun went down here about a month ago when I took this photo (that's what you get for living far north).

I like this one much better than part 1 There's more feeling of depth here, and the water seems even more like floating fog. Nice choice of title for this series, btw
I also like that you chose to make this B/W. You made a good job of pointing out that removing the colours of a photo doesn't equal "making it look boring"!

This shot (and the previous) are so beautiful. I really love them, they're nostalgic for me. When I was little I used to go to my grandparents house and my father and I would take walks. It would go through the woods from their backyard into a natural reserve where no one could hunt, and everything was untouched. And this, all of your shots really, remind me of that time.
