Cyn3rgie In reply to lexidh [2005-06-28 20:57:50 +0000 UTC]

what fkind of camera did you use? and what was the shutter speed? because i've seen this effect of the flowing water achieved with a filter in an slr magazine

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

lexidh In reply to Cyn3rgie [2005-06-28 22:47:46 +0000 UTC]

If you know your camera and stay away from the auto-everything-setting, you can do this too
You have to be in charge of your shutterspeed and aperture.

Cyn3rgie In reply to lexidh [2005-06-29 14:22:41 +0000 UTC]

aha. so im assuming you used a digital for this?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

lexidh In reply to Cyn3rgie [2005-06-29 15:10:23 +0000 UTC]

I did, but you can easily do this with a good non-digital camera too.

RoomajisMasquerade [2004-12-23 19:05:54 +0000 UTC]

hey, tat's not really fog right? i mean is it just a longer exposure to let the water smooth itself out in the picture? my guess of how you did that... 'be funny if it was actually fog...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

lexidh In reply to RoomajisMasquerade [2005-01-07 01:59:32 +0000 UTC]

very nice shot, the water really looks like it is fog crawling down. the long exp even creates the feeling like the fog doesn't belong into the image, which does makeit look surreal. i wouldn't mind it being a little brighter thought. good work
