I can't do the extreme style of anime, so I go for softer more realistic-like features. My necks come out too long all the time. I LOVE the way her face came out!openCanvas3plus and ink [yes real pen ink*gasp*] for outline

I never said she was supposed to be realistic, I know that it is anime. It's the fact that I bothered to give the eyes a bit of human-like quality [from my point of view] and the lips definition that I say she has realistic-like features.
But I respect your opinion
