I think I might be entering a Zelda binge on customizing...Just randomly got inspired to make a Saria from a generation 3.5 pony. Something about the simplicity of the design made me want to make her...
Saria is re-haired in a hand blend of unlucky clover, and electric banana authentic Hasbro pony hair.
Full body repaint in flesh tone acrylics, eyes hand-painted in various gradients of blues, grays, black, white, and shadowed in various other flesh tones and green eye brows.
Her fairy Ocarina is hand-crafted and custom-detailed stones, painted in acrylics.
Outfit is hand-sewn, detailed in ribbon, hemp, and wire.
She has a "fairy companion" secured to her tail, and it's made from a itty bitty cotton ball, and a shiny purple material for the wings, secured with wire.

This has got to be the cutest custom pony I have ever seen Mana Maiden do (though I'm probably biased because I'm a die-hard LoZ fan). Hands down. What grabs my attention is definitely the hair and eyes. The eyes are very bright and innocent, as Saria's should be, and the hair color takes a little bit of liberty yet still stays mostly true to the original color. The tail is very cute yet elegant, and the shape of the fairy's wings adds to that. Upon further inspection, one notices the fairy ocarina accompanies the pony, as it should. My only complaint is that the pony's butt is very oddly shaped but... I figure that's Hasbro's fault and not Mana's. But maybe she could use a different base pony to start with next time?
Either way, I absolutely adore this cute little figurine. Great job Mana!

I'm not a fan of Zelda, but damn is this custom adorable. <3 I just love how ... innocent she looks. You can see that a lot in the eyes [which are painted beautifully], and the way her mane frames her face - wow. So cute! And the little fairy deal in her tail ... I really like that. <3
