i went to a piercing show a couple years back and there was someone that had their full arms, front of legs, hips, back, and chest with corset piercings- it was crazy cool

Corset piercings have such a high rejection rate that they seldom last very long. They just don't have enough skin to grab on to really... On a side note, I'm deathly afraid of needles and would never have a piercing for any reason...

that's not much of a critique though, saying it isn't art. It may not be art you're particularly fond of, but it's art none the less, and I tailored the photo enough that it's not a snapshot since it's not of something generic either nor does anyone else consider it to be a snapshot. but thanks for your input.

I honestly didn't mean to offend you, the word "Art" is very hard to define. The reason I'm not seeing it is because the photo seems to be simply (from my perspective) showing a thing. I'm not a great photographer, so to just thrash other peoples work would be stupid of me. But, generally a photograph has a meaning behind it, some consideration of composition, line, value, contrast, etc... What I see, is someone taking a picture of something someone else has done to themselves.. it reminds me of a snapshot taken during a night out with your friends. : o / I dunno.. I could try to redeem myself all night but, hopefully you didn't take this too harshly..

haha yeah. they don't stay in for that long though, so you're left with the scars.

they can be perm. piercings if you get them done correctly. If incorrectly done they will leave really bad scars 'cause they'll be rejected. However if done as a temp. piercing, the scars aren't that large at all... they're actually rather tiny and unoticeable
