Description
*Not sure what possessed me to hand-write the whole thing, hopefully you can make it outDownload for the zip. Also, if you're using the Gimp you can get the brushes I used here: [link]
This is pretty lengthy and I was lazy, next tutorial will be more polished I promise

You're getting there, I think you need some solid colour in the smoke though (it's a bit transparent now), and more definition to the fire. At night there will be a lot of illumination to the nearby smoke as well, depending on it's thickness. At the moment it seems to look as though it came from a campfire (it's too wisphy). That's just what it seems to me though, were you using reference?
That does look cool though An intense fireball is probably more the look you're going for though, have a look at this: [link]

lol no havent used a reference, i dont know it got a bit of a sci-fi laser effect now like its burning into the house slowly, and the smoke was meant to be transparent. and yeah the fire should be bigger and get more colour as you said, i love good criticisme :3
and whats illumination?

Same here By illumination I mean lighting on the smoke, it'll be redder where it can pick up the red light from the fire for example, or orange. It's a bad example of what I mean, but see in the ref I linked above how the smoke nearby picks up the colour of the fire? It'll look different further up of course, I'd link you another but it's 11pm and I'm really tired
