Description
Before I say anything, helped shitloads with the figure of Beowulf.This was for a British Literature class and I got an A even though the sheath is supposed to be a hilt. Just a little thing I forgot, my bad.
Anyways, I have two comics near completion (the diggyman epilogue thing and I am posting my tvd introduction anyways) as well as another illustration.
EDIT how the hell did I make this a print? It was accidental I swear, how do I make it not that?

Yeah in the story. He takes the hilt of the sword with him I think.

he does, he takes a giant's sword off the wall of grendel's mother's fight hall and cuts grendel's head off. grendel's blood however melts the blade away, leaving the hilt. he then takes the head and hilt back to herot as his reward.

Yes. My error was drawing a scabbard there instead of the hilt. My professor didn't mind though.

This took me longer than writing a paper. I have written 3 papers on Beowulf. A painting was a nice change.

It was a joke, Roripu. I find it funny and kind of awesome that your Literature class considers painting a legitimate contribution. I like the mood. The background looks half-assed and the brush economy on Grendel could stand to be improved, but you already know all that.
