Description
Little something I did for school. We had to do some illustrations for kids in hospitals, to decor their halls and rooms, and that's what I came up with.
I was heavily inspired by Jill Barklem's illustrations and stories.
A little mouse reading under a tree.
The scan ruined the drawing a bit, it killed the colors. The sky was supposed to be light blue but it doesn't show here. :/
More like these will come! I didn't do much personal art lately but a ton of these! Hope you like them.

Sorry I'm late but what tools did you use to draw and colour this?

Well, first I sketched the mouse and all, then I used a ink pen to do the lineart.
After that I used the watercolurs to colour everything. I didn't use any pencils to do shadings or else. For this kind of drawing I didn't dilute the colurs very much.

Yeaah indeed, but it will be 7 little scenes from each theme, so I can practice with scenes, backgrounds,etc and because they are going to be little scenes, I can try different things. experimenting.
Haha my scanner is... bleh sometimes aswell. But yeah I don't have a other option xD
