I tried them on #TalentPur-Romanesc ,and they don't work,yes with 1024x1024 background images that worked on my profile,but they don't work.

Is there a way to change the color of the text? If not, it's not big deal. I've settled on an acceptable solution. I just am terrible with CSS, so if there's a way to add something where you can input a hexadecimal code to change the color or something, that would be great.

Nope, changing the color requires setting an inline style, something only admins can do.

Does this only work for custom widgets? When I tried to use it for the BG of a gallery widget on my front page, the thumbnails displayed behind the BG, though the coding worked.

This should only work in the "Custom" module, and in the "devID" module if you have no deviantID.

:/ I need some help with this. I put the code in my ID and one of my custom widget's but it's not working. I made sure it was all on one line and my image is 1024X1024 but all you can see is this little square up on the very top of the widget. Is it that my image is not big enough?, Have any idea's for what's going on?

You're linking to the page with the image, not the image itself (which is http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/181/b/4/Tester_by_DEATH989.png)
Also, you need to remove the deviantID picture by clicking the remove button or else the background will go over. Then you can link the image in your content area.

You can only put this one in a "Custom" module, the others should work in just about any module.

~It's a pity that the bacground image cant be repeated, it accepts the "align" tag & it can be streched.
