This is my far, far, FAR long overdue Kiriban/ Birthday-Gift/ Christmas-Gift/I'm-sorry-for-being-such-an-awful-friend-for-such-a-wonderful-person-Gift and swwet Nava, I can't tell how damn sorry I am for letting you wait for this disgusting long time :c ;^;
As a least thing I could do I decided to draw your two characters as full bodies instead of part-bodies, because I had this scene for them in my mind and I really wanted to draw it as a big scene! (I'm sorry for the song I chose, but I couldn't resist, it was just to perfect x'D)
The idea behind this scene is the following: Kleira (left) is a warrioress and decided to tame a wild animal to be her mount instead of training an already tame one. Due to his wild origin Madaghe remained an impulsive and also kind of playful little dude, not always (*cough*) following Kleiras orders and often trying to do his own thing - which of course pisses off the serious warrioress x'D I really really love this combination of such different personalities teaming up and so I really had to draw a moment of their characters colliding xD
It was really a lot of fun drawing these two fools and I'm kinda proud of the way I caught the dynamic of Madaghes pose and I really enjoyed drawing a traditional piece, again. Though I'm not quite satisfied with the editing, so I might update this once again, later
I want to do this more often, now and in fact I have quite a few drawings done I want to color in the next weeks. I'm kinda tired of the digital working, so hope you still like my traditional gaffes c':

It cannot be, IT CANNOT BEEEEE!!!!! Holy cow, there are no words how epic is this pic… NO, IT’S SIMPLY LEGENDARY!!!! I don’t know, where to start, my mind is blowing up because of that huge thought-cunami, it’s like a huge mess of happiness! 
First of all, the character-choosing. I would have never even thought that you would draw each of these characters, not even both! I had many tips for the surprise, but they weren’t in my list. You really surprised me with this and you chose a very iconic situation, especially you chose the best situation and you made something wonderful on this pic what I wasn’t able to do so far. And you also used the name ‘Real Challenge’ – now it was another real mind-blowing moment!
But there are more on the pic that I need to mention! For examples, the characters and their personality! I saw the reference sheet inspired you to make this scene, and you used the information therein very well! I always had a kind of imperfect conception about this scene and I never knew what was missing from it. Now I know: the personalities and reality! You blended these things perfectly! Kleira has got a grumpy and willful personality, which is shown so incredibly great here! No matter how big is the challenge that is needed to be done, she on her way to do it, at whatever cost. Besides her mental power, the physical strength is there in her, and you showed in the pic so well! I see how her muscles are stretched to hold the huge, untamed beast, and her face expression is like “No matter what you do, I WILL win this battle!” And the sizes of the characters are perfect! I had been thinking on the sizes so much during making the reference she. I didn’t want to make a too big, nor a too small mount, and you also paid attention to this! Incredible!
And you made a very good work on the colours! I love the tones of her tribal dress, you chose the perfect softer and darker colours to make it so lifelike, especially on her upper dress!
And look at that mighty and strong beast! *___* Madaghe is a playful and rather silly mount but here, before the stage of taming, he is like a wild beast! He tries to resist to Kleira’s will, and his face expression tells it perfectly! He not just shows his teeth but the mimic you added shoes the feeling that what he thinks about the situation. He doesn’t want to yield to the young warrioress! And his eyes! I love how he looks away, like a horse when it’s frustrated or angry, such a brilliant addition!!! *0*
And that dynamic pose you gave to him is simply fantastic! Basically he is not so big but well-muscled creature and with this pose you showed this well worked-out body structure! And those dust clouds around his legs, it makes his movement more realistic and strong!! And you paid attention on his look: the smaller feathers on his head and legs, you made every single detail perfectly, not to mention his accessories!
And don’t forget about the background! You gave back the scene of their home so perfectly! deserted and dry landscape which make the entire composition even massive and expressive! The sand hills on the sides look like they want to encounter over the characters’ head. Since Kleira’s has the power to control earth, it looks like they would embody her feelings, which makes the scene more dramatic! Brilliant!!!
And there are two dragon, flying in the distance! Pure blooded dragons are quite rare in this world but they fit so well in this unique scene… unique like themselves! You have increades the mood of the pic to the highest level!!!!!You paid attention to every single detail, you are the dream creator of reference sheet makers!
The song you chose for the pic is very good and it totally fits to the scene!
Oh my goodness… there are so many thought in my head about this pic! It was worth to wait for it! I mean, I could have waited for it as long as it’s needed, but I didn’t expected to such epic gift! This is the best art of them and I’m sure that I won’t be able to outshine it… NEVER EVER!!!!
Thank you so much for this wonderful gift! It’s not just a gift but a very personal treasure for me! In one hand I got it from a very lovely and precious friend like you, on the other hand you showed me that impossible is not exist, you thought me a very valuable lesson about how to reach perfection, and you got over every physical and imaginary obstacle and made a legendary scene… you made a Real Challenge!

Speaking of the colors, I felt kinda bad that I had to make Madaghes colors so much darker then they're supposed to be ;___; but I had no pencils being bright enough :c Hope that's not too bad. x'D

It's funny you noticed the detail of Madaghe looking away :'D I in fact collected lots of ideas for this drawing by pics of cowboys taming a wild horse or somebody trying to hold a bucking horse. That's when I also noticed the detail with their eyes and thought it might be a sweet touch to catch up Madaghes rage x3 <3<3<3
Oh I did not pay attention to Kleiras earth magic, to be honest :'D But I'm so glad I chose this kind of background, now, knowing this really makes it fitting to her even more <3

Nah, you don't have to be worried about Madaghe's colours, he look perfectly! This bit darker tone shows the muscles much better and separates his colour palette more from the colours of the backgound and of Kleira :3
