This is my entry for the Gaiaonline based art contest "Once upon a time..."
We could pick different original characters and I decided to put the cute bunny human Madison in an Alice inspired scene.

Why the carrot? 'Cause Madi loves'em.

Why the hotdog and the duck? Because Izzy, another OC of loves'em. (Was a hard time to choose between the two characters which I both like a lot, so this is some form of compromise).

My favorite piece in this picture probably is the living teapot: As far as I know it was once a mighty dragon but he was cursed because...well, he refused to tell me. It's extremely difficult to handle this teapot: The transformed dragon can be extremely moody and grumpy so that he might go and uncurl his tail just when you're about to pour some tea. Or he tries to scald you, spilling, spitting and fuming.
I plan to have Lucind take care of him. Maybe she can teach him some manners.

I plan to give the original to my mom for her birthday in June. When she saw the WIP she was like, Oh my god how cute!! That for me? [later on] I want such a picture, too~~ [later on] So what are you gonna do with the drawing..?? 8D

- pencil 3B
- metal feather/black Maxon comic ink (had totally forgotten about the "Draw your own manga" set a penpal once sent me)
- slightly edited the color level/contrast with GIMP
