Amazing work!
I like how you've smoothed everything; is that the velum?

Thanks, i really can't say. I have never used the carbon before and i just winged it. I don't think the paper had anything to do with it though. I do blend a lot which did help with this one by using tortillons and brushes.

Thanks for getting back to me about your drawing techniques. I've just googled tortillon and it seems a better way to blend than using scrunched up tissue paper, (I tried cotton buds too). Gonna get me some tortillons!

You're welcome, you can make your own by using normal cartridge paper and roll it up to get a nice point on the end. Tape the other end so it stays together and it will do you ok. After a few practice ones you will be making them like a pro

Many thanks, I'm amazed it all came together at all in the end, very messy but good fun and definitely an education for me.

Great work as always Mark, I cannot imagine how long it must take for you to draw such wonderful pieces on A2?

Thanks Paul, oh yes i can fondly remember when a drawing would take me about 3 or 4ish days ... now it's moving slowly towards 4 weeks but i am still enjoying ever minute of it ... thankfully.
