my entry for the nvidia speak visual contestI am not that good in writing a large description about what my work should express, i prefer to let my image do that job and i think that is exactly what it depends on in this contest, to create a picture that expresses the artists intentions.
I decided to create an image that is made up of pure shape, color and light. The point of interest of this image is the Nvidia-claw and nothing else. To support the shape of the claw i used techniques known from traditional paintings like contrast in value, hue and saturation. The very simple and unsaturated background keeps the viewers eye locked on the claw, traveling around the different colorful spots. I also kept the colors close to those used in the presentation of the Speak Visual event

yeah its so friggin annoying,I was making my piece, and then ramdomly glanced at the forum. Worst part is, that the chance of winning was there. At least the fun in participating.

yeah i know the nvidia green and i even tested it however i think it was slightly too yellow, but thats just a matter of taste i think
