Looks great on first glance, but has to be a deathtrap for the deployed "infantry"... forcing them to climp up over most of the protective armor and then run down a long ramp before they actually are in the action of the battlefield seems like a recipe to get them mechsniped out of the hatch before they can even raise their own weapons. Real World APC have their main hatches in the back where you can go out, while still covered by the tank between you and the enemy position... This APC though seems to be built to drive towards the combat situation front on and not to swerve away to protect the deploying Armored suits by gong sideways before opening its hatches, so it would leave them visible from the front and side where a proper APC would not do it anyway like this.

Well, it is the year 3000, so there are some concepts that are allowed to slide Battletech relations in general between the different types of units fielded and the way their armor behaves throw a lot of contemporary thoughts mostly out the window.
That being said, the vehicle actually has 3 doors. One one each side, as shown, and a larger to the rear. Not showing the rear open was an artistic decision, to keep the overall render of the vehicle larger, as opposed to wider.

It's like a Baneblade designed to actually be a viable vehicle, with a generous handful of Merkava thrown in... I like it!

You would use this wonderful brute when you NEED to get from point A to B.
Looking great, thank you for sharing this unstoppable Beast of an APC.

Nice work with the design. Like the egress hatch for the elementals but can't quite work out how the exit ramp would fold back.

Yeah, there's likely some overly complex accordian action that goes on for the ramps. I just usually write it off as "In the year 3000!"
The commissioner and myself were also discussing that the side egresses are likely configurable as well depending on the troops expected to use them. Even to the point of changing the hinge to the outside point allowing the door to open true vertical and have jump troops exit under thrust. Likely with some equipment inside dealing with the blast.
thanks for lookin

In fact if you moved the hinge to the outside point you could have it open 180 degrees thereby becoming part of the egress ramp and you could then incorporate a folding ramp system into the hatch itself.

Personally, I'd keep the hatch on top, but add to it a mag-rail to launch the Elementals...
And if the "top step" folds inward first, getting that ramp folded behind the armored hatch will be no problem.

Assault weight APC/IFV, ok, this is needed in my life. Love the MOVE on the dozer blade too
