Ok it's a dumb title, it's not a fast mouse, it was a quickly painted mouse.

Speed painting, about 2 1/2 hours total.

We saw a mouse outside the grocery store yesterday. My son was fascinated, we followed it around for awhile It was so cute and so very tiny, the smallest mousie on running feet I've ever seen. I wonder if it was actually some sort of marsupial mouse, as it didn't look like any type of mouse I've seen before. Its body was barely two inches long, if that, and its head was gianormous by proportion! Maybe it was just a runty regular mousie?

He ran close to a group of people, and we held our breaths, afraid they would see him, afraid they would scare him into the shop (he was between them and the door, if someone had turned to walk in at that moment he would have been scared inside!) Luckily he scampered off safely down a path.

This doesn't look exactly like him he was too quick and quivery to get a real close up look. It's more of an impression of what he looked like...all head and fat fluffy body on impossibly small little footsies.
