Description
I had an idea while randomly doodling dinosaurs to create a kind of alternate take on some of the Skull Island fauna from my favourite film ever, Peter Jackson's King Kong from 2005. The look and layout of this was very much inspired by the excellent tie-in book, The World of Kong that details the entire ecosystem that Weta Workshop designed for the film.

This is my take on Vastatosaurus rex, the big meat-eater that Kong fights three of on the film. In my view, V. rex being a ceratosaur rather than a coelurosaurian tyrannosaur would help to explain the inherent inaccuracies of the creature, as awesome as it was.
