A few things in your composition that I feel I can help improving.

First, and this is very important. What is your focus? The things with what you have here is, there is two things to focus on. Is there a way you can think of to bring the two together more?

Secondly is the flow, there's no flow, nothing just your hand a picture and a chain. There all separtent elements however, there not leading my eye anywhere. One of the simpilist thing you could do to improve this is bring the chain so it flows over the chain mail.

You see what I'm saying? As well you have things in the background, which are in focus and add nothing to the photograph. All I feel you need is a wall, your hand and the chain nothing more.

Maybe mess around with the lighting the help your focus out as well.

Nice concept! I like the handcuff, it adds to the effect.
And o.0 I didn't know chainmails were really um, mails.
