Here are a few tips. With the hair near the ear, I can THROUGH it and see the backgroud. Might want to fill that in. The hair on the outside is fine in fluidness, but try to keep it all one more shape, so it doesn't draw focus from the picture. Only do small juts, in other words. Also, add a bit of detail to the ear, set the opacity of those sunglass/glasses lenses down a bit, then add one solid white on top of it in the "shiny" areas. (That shows they are not brownish lenses). I would also suggest keeping the outline to the shirt more smooth, just for vector purposes. Be sure to add more detail into that butterfly, as well as the eyes. The eyes kinda make her look baked, and we don't need a baked eve, so try adding whites and more colour to the general area. Whiter eye whites, black eye areas, and coloured pupils will help out the focus. The lines below the eyes kind of make her look tired, so try reducing the opacity first, but if it still looks like that, add a line connected under the eye that comes out, oh 1/2 - 1cm from the bottom in the contour of the eye. This will give it that depth. Oh, and if she has a dimple or anything, add that to fill up some of the space on her face. You can also try simple shadows, which are pretty easy.

Overall, a nice first try (much better than most of the tries in general). Keep fooling with it, play with the ideas I gave you, and then rock on
