Description
Here’s something for you all!I have this story plot in my AU and my mates were like: you should defo draw it!
I was planning to, but decided to do this before finishing the other artwork I was doing.
I am pleased to have done that decision and I’m pretty happy on how this piece looks! Here’s the story plot for my AU (SPOILER FOR MY AU):
Basically, Diesel, who came to Sodor and caused havoc to Duck and the others actually was given a name, but was never actually asked if he had one when first coming to Sodor since most, if not all diesels only had numbers. His name was Damien and sticked with that name for the rest of his life since he had a big regret on what he did on Sodor in 1958.
You see, when the book got published, it kinda created a bigger rift between steam and diesels. Steam engines not wanting to trust diesels and diesel not wanting to be near steam engines who could ruin their image.
All diesels hated the Diesel who tricked the engines of Sodor. But there was one who inspired to be that Diesel. One of Damien’s brothers, an attention seeker, wanted to be the Diesel. So he did, by taking the name and claiming to be Diesel that caused havoc to the engines of Sodor in 1958. This did get him attention and Diesel began to become very stuck up and even though it did create some negativity towards him, most diesels just accept it and wherever he went, he was talked about.
However, this would get to him in 1996, when the newly reformed, North Western Railway was requesting in having two diesel shunters to work at either Tidmouth or Killdane. Damien, wanting to make amends with the other engines, volunteered in going. And Diesel, well, since he was still claiming to have gone to Sodor, the manager at his shed decided to have him to and make “amends” with the engines. Much to Diesel’s horror!
However, he didn’t want to look like a phoney though and headed over there with Damien. Diesel still claimed that he was the Diesel who had come to their railway and the engines, forgetting what the first Diesel’s face and voice were like, believed him.
Damien’s plan in making amends though but still led that to his advantage with making good friends with the other engines. Even had a good conversation with Henry had one point! Duck obviously was more suspicious if this though, with remembering that Diesel did not have a pointy nose that other Diesel had.
It made it even more obvious to Duck that Diesel wasn’t who he said he was when he more acting like a brute than a devious, scheming Diesel which terrorised the railway before. More bumping into the back of the other engines and openly making fun of others. Then it all became clear when Damien showed his smart, scheming tactics as he solved a problem, Duck now realised that Damien was the real Diesel.
But how will he confront it? How will this whole matter resolve? Well... imma not gonna say, if you guys want me to continue this, I can if it’s requested of me haha.
Anyways hope you all like it!!
NOTE: MY ARTWORK IS NOT TO BE USED UNLESS I SAY SO!!! DO NOT OBLIGE THIS REQUEST AND ACTION WILL BE TAKEN!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
