Description
Thomas thinks his branch line is the most important part of the whole railway, but how about the most beautiful? The watermill was built in the early 18th century and has gone through many changes throughout the years, it's current form is from an early 20th century rebuild, where roof became slate and a new wooden structure for the wheel replaced the old one, the remains of the old one can be found in the wooded area near it. The design of the mill and structure of the house stays the same. It was given the name 'Elsbridge Watermill' by the locals.
During 1924-25, the Elsbridge branch line was being extended to Ffarquahar and had to go past the watermill directly. They had to cross a bridge to get to the other side and to save building supplies and to help benefit the people working at the watermill, they built an arch in the middle of it so it could still give them access to the other side of the line, although, the watermill never used it.
In 1953, the watermill was finally put out of work due to expense and old age, it was going to be demolished but the Sodor Trust, supported by the Sodor Council decided to buy up the land there with the building and create a small park there and preserved watermill. Now the park has become popular with walkers and rail-enthusiasts who love watching the engines go by over the bridge past the mill.
The watermill can be accessed by the public only on weekends and the wheel is usually not working, but does move on special events.

This took me forever to make! But glad I did, I tried adding reflection to the water and I think it worked extremely well! There are a few things that I wish could be better like the trees and bushes but I will improve on those parts eventually. Will be doing more scenic scenes in the future! Thinking of doing that one lake landscape that's in the TVS Little Western that was seen in Season 3. Continuing on with those engines drawings soon!
Thanks to DaAlexanator for giving his Thomas sprite to trace off. That's the only thing I traced off I promise!
