This artwork depicts a weapon which is a part of my sci-fi world's lore. Do not copy the design, use it in your own artworks, or claim it as your own!

Lore and Description:
2K9 "Aracal" is a submachine gun manufactured by Kaneesian which is essentially a smaller brother of the 3K8 "Cerdoc" assault rifle, with which it shares a fair amount of components. This mean little thing is chambered in the powerful 11.2 × 24 mm cartridge, packing a big punch in a small package. To keep the weapon somewhat controllable, it is equipped with a heavy telescoping bolt which brings the rate of fire to moderate 600 rounds per minute. It comes equipped with a 24-round box magazine by default, but larger magazines are also available. Thanks to its telescopic stock, the weapon can be made very compact for carrying, although it can not be fired with its stock fully retracted as it somewhat obstructs the ejection port on the right side of the weapon. For a more comfortable shooting experience, a fixed polymer stock can be equipped instead. The Aracal is used by vehicle crews of Istarian Self-Defense Force and is also available for purchase by private security companies.

Inspiration and Background Information:
This is a fairly simple SMG design based on my earlier "Cerdoc" assault rifle. The overall proportions are very close to those of the real-life B&T APC9.
