Description
One of the new Animated universe characters introduced in the BotCon 2011 preview comic "Moving Violations" , Crumplezone! Yes, he is an Autobot! He's an amiable lummox, really, but his best bud Ransack just keeps getting him into trouble...Bringing Ransack and Crumplezone back for another round of mischief was great fun. The indomitable Derrick J. Wyatt did the original design sketches for the characters, and let me do the final inks and colors.

Great work! I always wanted a Crumplezone (especially the Dark variet depicted here), but he wasn't easy to get over here. Damn.

Digging the idea of these two as 'bots. What motivates a character in one continuity to join a particular faction may not hold true in other stories, even if their personality is mostly the same, right?

So you inked and coloured DJW's original Lineart? I love the colours you gave CZ, quite true to his Cybertron incarnation's. Will we perhaps see a Ransack model in the future?
