Description
To purchase this image as an exclusive limited edition print please visit my website @ WWW.NATEZEMAN.COMThe red fox is perfectly adapted to living in the harshest of conditions. A subzero night time snowstorm doesn't stop this one from getting in a few winks.
This is probably the only nature photo I've taken that used something other than natural light. I'm not sure if it works or not but i thought it was interesting enough to post. Lemme know what you think!

While I am a huge fan of natural light, almost a purist really, I don't think this was spoiled by the flash.
It would have been really quite hard to try to get this with out the flash.
Excellent shot, by the way. I always love your nature work. You manage to catch a lot of the little, beautiful things in nature and life.

Super shot Nate, and the flash worked out really well... not too harsh or overpowering... well done my friend!

Post ANY shot of magnificent animals like this little guy! When I see foxes, I think of the one in "The Little Prince".

You did an amazing job with the light. I would have worried about the animal's reaction to it.
Hard to believe that he's just laying there out in what appears to be the open on such a cold night.

My parents have them in northern Ontario, Canada but I've never been up in the winter so I haven't seen them. Nature is amazing.

Aww! Adorable! And the lighting does look fine, I think it would be necessary to take a photo in such a dark surroundings.
