I wonder how many butthurt defences I'll get from this.Hurr hurr, I wanted to join in the fun!~
Since nobody ever reads the artist comments anyway, I'll just say this - I don't actually hate Hatsune Miku. I'm a vocaloid fan, however, I think that Hatsune Miku is more than a bit overrated. For one, I think that Meiko sounds better than Miku in general. Two, sometimes Miku's voice comes off as whiney and annoying for me. Three, her fanbase largely consists of fantards who like her for her appearance - her voice be damned. Once again, there are some songs that she "sings" that I like, but overall she's an overrated software.

I agree with you. Shes HIGHLY overrated and her voice is rather painful to hear though I know I have at least 1 song I like by here that didnt make my ears bleed.

At most, I only like one of her songs when it isn't a Nico Nico dub or a dub by Rockleetist on Youtube. I think it's called Lost House, but yeah. Other than that, Miku sucks.

Yeah you really have to heavily edit her voice to make it bearable. Though I am curious about how Append Miku will sound like if it makes her any better.

Append Miku is slightly deeper and more human-like. It sounds almost normal, not so much "kawaii kawaii desu~" anymore.

Well, let's evaluate your steriotypical weeaboo. They tend to be obese, unhygenic, balding, and altogether socially awkward. They have a strong fettish for women who look like children while also retaining their own sex appeal. Naturally, they'd look to anime. Since Miku is a vocaloid, they can manipulate her voice to tell them sweet nothings that they'll never hear from everyone else. With an obviously pornographic depiction of Miku and the fake orgasmic moans and words of love that they create on that software, they can believe that they actually have someone who cares for them and would touch their sorry asses. It escalated from there, and Miku became that famous prostitute that everyone loves and that exists in every fantasy video game ever. At least, that's my theory as to how it all went down.
