I wonder how many butthurt defences I'll get from this.Hurr hurr, I wanted to join in the fun!~
Since nobody ever reads the artist comments anyway, I'll just say this - I don't actually hate Hatsune Miku. I'm a vocaloid fan, however, I think that Hatsune Miku is more than a bit overrated. For one, I think that Meiko sounds better than Miku in general. Two, sometimes Miku's voice comes off as whiney and annoying for me. Three, her fanbase largely consists of fantards who like her for her appearance - her voice be damned. Once again, there are some songs that she "sings" that I like, but overall she's an overrated software.

It is really getting tiring. Almost every VOCALOID videos I see on the comments all I see is "OMG HE'S SO KAWAII DESU" and all that bullcrap.

Yeah, at first I loved Miku, but then I noticed she can get REALLY obnoxious if her voice spikes or squeaks, and the fantards who only care about yuri pairings and her look instead of her voice. I've began to branch out to other Vocaloids too, like Luka :3

Ugh, you have no idea how much I hate that. Her appearance doesn't mean shit. I mean, sure, it's one of the biggest appeals to any fantard - but her voice should have some meaning for whether you like her or not as well.

I don't like any Vocaloid.
Computer generated voices are all awesome. But NOT when the voice is 99% o the song. Fuck. It sounds horrible an creepy for it's a voice that's supposed to be kinda real.

Fanmade vocaloids, pfff. The vocaloids them selves have no personalities, in-depth stories or ANYTHING human at all except for animu looks. I can't imagine how horrible the fanmade ones are.

Yep. It's all cool how the Japs made characters. It's what Japs always do. But they should add some personalities and such to them. Makes it at least a bit interesting.

This is so true, this weaboo the Japanese 1 class (Japanese 2 and 1 students share a room) was drawing Miku and one of the twins, the girl one. She's pretty decent for an animu artist, but it's so generic that it doesn't stand out at all. I'm a semi fan of the vocaloids, but Miku is so overused that I see her and automatically shut that shit off. I prefer Luka.

Oh gawd. I kind of like Rin to an extent, but Miku's seriously overdone. There's very few songs of her's - that aren't Nico Nico dubs - that I'll listen to regularly. VERY few. Most of the time, I stick to the other vocaloids. They aren't half as annoying, except for maybe Rin on occassion.
