Description
These are the basics (and some seldom known details) on how the core looks and works.Thanks for everyone who looked at my previous tutorials. I have something very interesting planned for the next tone too.
p.S. The core is a sexy thing whether it's muscular, or not. When I'm done detailing the parts of the body, I'm going to cover different body types, gestures, character work etc...

This is a pretty useful tutorial... I don't understand why it's mature content though.

Actually, it only happened because there was one particular user who objected to my "Some women twist pretty hard" comment, and I think that she said that images I had of the female body were objectification or something. An admin from DA saw it was stirring up some controversy and added the mature content warning.
I was and am still fine with it.
What I found incredible was that even before I could post a reply, fans and some of the general community we have here on DA did it for me and defended the tutorial. Essentially they said that there are plenty of drawings of the male torso in this tutorial too. Some girls even started sending me pics showing that they could indeed twist as far as the drawing I posted, and even farther!
For that I am very grateful. We've got a really great community here.

Ah okay then. Sometimes people forget that idealization and exaggeration of the human figure cuts both ways

Everything, the simplifying of the human body and anatomy in thinking of it as a box. the muscles especially. It's already hard to simplify these things so it puts them in a different perspective

I'm going to bookmark your entire tutorials gallery. I bought Michael Hampton's "The Human Figure: Design and Invention," and I just CANNOT comprehend things the way he teaches. For some reason, I understand yours much better!!

Outstanding tutorial as always, truly deserving of a DD. However, I don't get why it's under an Adult filter. There's nothing about this that can be considered adult content.

--> Amazingly, a lot of DA members came to my defense saying, like you, that the tutorial shows nothing vulgar whatsoever. I am so appreciative for that and I still haven't the words to describe just how much. That's when an admin at DA added the Adult Filter. She didn't ask me before hand, but I don't mind the change. After a short comment war (which can still be read) it all faded away.

I can understand what it has been like for you. Strange times indeed when heavily sexual photos, drawings , and the likes get no adult filter, while Deviations like this tutorial do.
In any case, Filter or not, amazing tutorial. And since it faded away, I say we let it stay that way.
