Description
After a good year and a half of hiatus, the Daily PokΓ©mon Doodle is back and I intend for it to stay that way! It's not going to be literally daily any more (I have so many other things to work on that putting an hour or two a day EVERY day for the DPD would be really impractical) but I'll try to do a couple every week and figure out some semblance of a regular upload schedule. Here's Onix! The Crystal Onix episode always really stuck with me from when I was young, I thought that big ol' sparkly blue Onix was just the coolest thing. So here's the Crystal Onix itself! Makes you wonder, though, how Onixes are born/formed, if you can get ones made out of crystal. Onix, you're so weird.

This looks really cool! Β You did a great job on the highlights and shadows on those rocks.

Ahh, thank you so much!! It was pretty fun shading them - I wish I could have made them feel a little more translucent, but I'm still pretty happy with how it turned out.

Bout as weird as Geodude I suppose. I have a shiny Geodude and it's gold. XD

Haha, rocktypes are bizarre with their shinies in all their weird colours. I like to imagine it's just some weird mineral impurity or something that makes them funky colours.

Or as I like to imagine with mine, I'm just freckin' rich now. XD
