Wingman2014 requested that I draw an Espurr, and given that a) I've been meaning to draw Espurr for ages and never got round to it and b) she asked so politely, how could I say no?What do you guys think of Espurrs in general? Cute? Creepy? Both? (I'm gonna go with both.)

It's so FLUFFEH ;C; and the eyes just look so awesome, I mean, seriously! All your Pokemon art is just awesome, so I'm not really surprised you made him look so cool and cute at the same time, but still... ;C;

(and that's good~ i hate it if i sound rude to people, because i never mean to be, but people used to tell me i was, so i'm kinda self conscious about it n' stuff, not to be rude(... i just did it again, didn't i?... )
(and if you don't mind, do you think you could give me a few tips on how to make eyes look like eyes without them looking weird? also, if it's okay, do you think you could give tips on how to make things actually look fluffy, if that's okay? those two things are basically the only things i really have trouble with outside of drawing legs n' stuff, so if it's okay, then please? you don't have to if you're busy or anything, though. it might be kinda weird since i use ms paint, and you probably use paint sai, or something else, if i'm correct?)

And I'll try to sketch up a few little tips on eyes and fluff for you. I can't promise that it'll be particularly soon because I've got a few things I need to work on first, but I've noted them down in my HabitRPG so I don't forget.

And that's nice, since most other tutorial things I've seen have only been for one program/thing/whatever, like SAI or Photoshop only, and not so much as for MS Paint and all that. Hope you have luck with the things you need to get done, though!

Yeah, I guess technique tutorials for a lot of things have to be program-specific (two of my three tutorials have all been for SAI because I honestly wouldn't know how to replicate the effects in another program) but luckily just 'how to draw stuff' kind of tutorials that focus on like...linework and construction (rather than how to colour/shade/etc) are relevant in any medium.

And yeah, like sometimes they help, like when it's for a few things like eyes, but with shading n' stuff, it doesn't really work 'well' for MS...

I normally find this thing super freaking creepy but.... he's kinda cute. You way you draw him anyway. I especially like his eyes, they're like cute little puppydog eyes and not 'I have seen some things...' eyes.

Thank you! Espurr really is a little eerie most of the time, isn't it? :L I dithered for a while over the eyes, like whether to go for the creepy stare or not but eventually went for cute eyes instead. I'm glad you like them!
