This is the print that I did for Emerald City Comic Con 2010. it is an exclusive print and will only be sold there so far as i know the print run will be limited to 250.More info : [link]
I have been trying to make my characters a bit more fashionable when they are not in fighting uniform and if I had more time i would do many pieces like this.
The city in the BG is Seattle. This Chun Li is a bit more on the cute side, more alpha ish that saw 3 where she is more of a vixen.
The Pencil line arts for this will be for sale at the convention, and i made sure that it is a one of my best pencil pieces in a while. The BG is drawn on there as well.

The attention to detail in the shading is really something. Really well executed. I guess you didn't quell your cravings for drawing Chun li after the Legend of Chun li series lol
Though call me an ass for saying this, but her head seems a little big, kinda gives me a kiddish feel.
And I don't see much of Chun li's iconic thunder thighs.
But of course this piece blows most out of the waters.

You should draw something taking place in Toronto someday, it'd be cool. Like that huge pic of all the Street Fighters from II and Alpha lined up in some alley. (was that one drawn by Alvin or Arnold? I don't remember...) I noticed the familiar Toronto bus stop sign in the corner as soon as I saw it.
Canada needs representation!!
*ahem* So off topic right now. This picture looks great as always. Chunner was never a favorite of mine, but I definitely prefer her cuter Alpha persona over her more ladylike self from III and IV.

Cool Pic, I love the way you drew the lines and all of the colors play together in an 'asian/San Francisco' kind of way. Great Job!
(BTW, I thought Chun Li's legs were a lot thicker. You, know,....for kickin' and stuff. Might be just me though.)

Would look alot better if there was a sense of 'wind' behind the drawing to breathe life into it. The drawing looks kind of dead.
Ex: Moving hair, jacket, dress, cherry blossom pedals.

Man, this is amazing. Her smile is small, but that make it look like a "simple beauty".
And even, i can see much of her hair, it's a incredible way of coloring.
I trying to make my characters with a good combinations of clothes too. But for a begginer like me, is difficult.
