Lol, my team is all weirdos. I eventually had to come clean to them and tell the coach I wasn't actually there to "make the team " I was actually just bored and their schedule happened to coincide with the days I take my shorter runs. So I figured, eh why not?
I like that she carries a healthy weight, XD means she actually has decent accommodations probably

From what I gather, it seems to be the sport for people who aren't into normal sports XD
She's a bit chubbier than a lot of my other characters, partially because, yes, she doesn't live in as harsh of an environment, human society in their world is still pretty similar to the real world we live in (just set back a couple decades or so). Also, design wise, I didn't want her to be just a 'half-identical twin' to Requiyen, who's tall and skinny despite being well off, it's just genetic for him, she's only a little taller than average for a girl, but has more curvy genes.

Pretty much, i'm the only runner on the team, so as far as cardio and endurance goes..i get bored often and start doing laps when i get too bored. And everyone else is always saying how sore they are and stuff..... i think i may be doing something wrong because unless ive managed to hurt myself, ive never been sore from a practice....Β  Β So i dont know whats going on there... I used to teach martial arts before having a falling out with the school master...i was the bigger person and left. But i missed having something violent to do... and it just worked out that their practices were held on nights i usually had a shorter run (I have a partially crippled leg and i had to start cutting down my weekly mileage due to over use.) i used to run like 75 miles a week, then i cut it to 65, now i cut it to 45 and skating twice a week... Im not crippled from running, its partially genes and partially injuries from being stupid, running actually keeps the swelling down. Β

Yeah, i wouldnt say shes chubby, just healthy and happy. I mean, shit i know i feel a lot better at like 150/155 than i do at like 140...i mean, i look better at 140, but pah, cookies and pasta are good dude...Β

Well, I guess that puts you at some advantage, having built up a better endurance than them.
75 miles a week sounds horrifying to me. I can sprint, but I can't do distance. Even then, I rarely ever train my sprinting ability, I mostly only use it to maintain my status as fastest beer-runner at work, I once made it from our workplace to the store across the street in 3 seconds. XD I have an unhealthy motive for my daily exercise. XP

She is supposed to be a little bit chubbier than she looksΒ  in her ref page here. I draw things on paper without shading, then color and shade digitally; I still have some trouble factoring in the fact that adding shading makes figures look thinner. I think the most recent drawing I drew of her looks bit more accurate to what I intended, her weight is more at her torso and lower half, which I think I did somewhat better at not losing to shading in that drawing.

I'm scrawny as hell and people are fucking dicks about it. Not everyone looks better super skinny. Generally when you feel better physically, it shows, you have more energy and just look healthier, it all depends on the person and their natural body type.

HAHA! B double E double R, U N Beerrun! Thats awesome XD hahaha! Nah, its not too bad, i have a nice trail to use, and one of those filter straws that lets me drink from the creek without getting some awful disease... so, shade and water makes for a good run, fucked up leg or nah....its when the people invade the trail >_>Β

Do you really like the digital drawing thing? I wanted to try it once (because i erase a lot) and i cant get my tablet to work for shit... my husband bought me one at a second hand shop like last year some time, and we cant get it to do shit... neither of us know how to work it O_O and hes a tech guy, its literally just being fucky! I think the digital stuff looks really cool and it uploads better on sites like this!Β

I think there is a few pics of my on Β my page somewhere... Im bigger than id like to be but dont care enough to do anything about it XD hahahah, but im also really damn tall, so .... theres that too... I dropped a lot of weight a couple times from illnesses and i looked AWFUL....like, theres pics and its bad..nah, some people look better with weight Having dated both before i married, my husband likes to tease me for liking chubby girls XD hahah, hes one that if we are together somewhere public, he'll nudge me and be like:" Theres one, go get her number XD" because he knows i'll just turn red and hide Lol

Yeah, I always prefer the woods and hidden trails over the ones in the parks that everyone flocks too.

I hate drawing/sketching digitally, but I do like it for coloring. I draw most things on paper first and scan them in to color and shade, I sometimes do backgrounds digitally, though I still prefer pencil and paper for those too, pencil gets smudged so easily when you're filling a whole page. I've ruined so many drawing trying to color them traditionally and digital also lets me experiment with different colors because you can change them so easily and see what you like best before settling. I suck with technology, so I can't really make any guess as to what might be wrong with your tablet, other than that you may have just gotten a broken one since it was second-hand. Wacom makes some really basic ones that are affordable and good for if you're just starting out.

Yeah, proportions are a big factor. People just focus on weight or waist size, but those numbers don't mean anything without height factored in; of course someone who's barely 5 ft tall is likely going to wear a smaller size and weigh less than someone who's 6 ft tall. Things like muscle also add mass.
My boyfriend jokes about that sort of stuff, too. Like the fact that I talked him into growing his hair out, and convinced him that girls' pants look better on him because he has a girl-butt. Yes, I like both and it's even better when you can have the best of both in one, what's so wrong about that? XD

As long as you avoid getting lymes disease! Its bad here, you dont dare go out with out spray, and you dont go far still ._.

I used to love smudging the pencils when i first started drawing often, and used it to do easy shading... it isnt consistent or really controllable though and i kinda abandoned the practice.. :/ That seems a good balance for you actually, to scan it and use the tablet for coloring... Out of curiosity what is it you would have wanted to do other than art? You mentioned it previously that there was other stuff. You are so young that theres a lot of time to do it still

Well and its also hard to put it in peoples head that just cuz someone is 300 pounds, doesnt mean they are necessarily fat, they could be really built too. My husband is about 300 pound, but hes also 6'4 and, yeah, hes a little chubby, but he can also lift 150 pound with one arm.. hes hella strong, like stupid strong. But he feels terrible about himself because all he hears is 300 pounds... so i know there are days he isnt eating as much as he should, and i scold him for it, but it hurts that he fells so bad about himself.
...in other news...My husband is also very effeminate at times XD and he totally has a girl butt and out of necessity wears ladies pants because guys pants dont fit his booty!! XD hahahah!!! Hey, if people are cute they are cute im basically an equal opportunity cuddle buddy, once i get to the point with someone that i know them well, i am the friend that will sit on you or randomly jump on your back or pick you up.. that annoying person XD hahaha Β it gets seen as being really flirty so i would just roll with it when someone got that way back, and i ended up with girlfriends and boyfriends that i didnt even know thought of me that way! At least until they got really flirty ._. heh

I don't know exactly what I would have ever pursued career-wise, like I said, I didn't really get the chance to even think that far. As far as in school I always liked history, sociology, psychology classes best. I probably could have done something with my interest in old cars or biology and forensic type stuff, but I dropped out of college years ago and don't have the patience (much less the financial means) to go back.

That's just how clothes are. They make them to fit the average proportions of people, but not everyone fits within those proportions.
I'm sort of the opposite of the bi stereotype, I can find guys and girls attractive, but I tend to be really... aloof?(for lack of better word) I'm not much of a people person and don't pay a whole lot of attention to people in general, so for someone to stand out by just their looks, they have to really fit my "type". Gender isn't a factor, but pretty much everything else is.

I want to go into veterinary medicine, its all ive ever wanted, but my mom had done her damnest to keep me out of school You seem like youre pretty clever, i bet youd do great at anything you put your energy to

I get that, i call myself the equal opportunity cuddle buddy, because im not interested in sex with anyone...ANYONE..... but if i know you well enough, i'll b the person who invades anyones personal space and flirts and all that. Like, i will sit on, lean on and pick up/smoosh anyone that i feel i am at that level of relationship with. But on the other side of that i hate when people do that to me Β Β

I just don't get why parents care so much what their child's career is, as long as it's something reasonably achievable; I could understand urging a kid not to go to college for some really useless major or a career that's dying out due to being obsolete, but veterinary medicine is something that will always be a needed field.

People think I'm not into anyone because I don't flirt or anything. They don't get that I can want someone physically, but the the generic social interactions of getting to know someone, are practically fucking painful for me. So I just keep the thoughts in my head. That and considering I'm not even single anyway, there's no point, unless I wanted to seem like a huge douchebag.

No idea, my mom seemed(s) absolutly apposed to the idea of my learning anything. Like i was very interested in languages as a kid, and tried to learn as many as i could, but if she found out about it she would literally tell me no one speaks that language... like its dead or something -_- my parents only found out that i play violin because my dad took me to a pawn shop and i found a pretty one that was badly out of tune and ...well, i couldnt just leave it like that, so i began repairing it. he told me to quit, saying i didnt know what i was doing, and i had to tell him i knew exactly what i was doing because my violin was shitty and i had to repair it daily at that time... ( that one literally exploded when it died...) he still didnt believe me, so i played him a song...Β

That's just weird. It probably has something to do with her feeling some sort of need to be controlling, or thinking that she knows best about everything.

"Occupation: slacker"
I feel you, Ferri. XD Skipping school was indeed an endeavor (one I'm glad I never have to go through again).

Ah, flipping me off. Classic. Well fuck you, too, Ferri, you piece of shit.

She's a little chubba-chub! <3 That's adorable. I love how a lot of her rebelliousness comes from her overbearing parents. Sometimes, all the effort really does just force the child to go off the straight and narrow (that the parents set, at least) and Ferri seems a really good example of that.

For Ferri's character sheet, I almost feel the exact opposite as I did for Ichibay. I know pretty much nothing of her familial life outside of her interactions with her parents. Even just a little hint that she and Requiyen or Ichibay used to be close would've been cool (and look at all that space on the bottom of this character sheet. Don't you bullshit me, KyttiBat, I swear to god). I especially would've liked that as it seems that Requiyen really loved (or at least liked) his brother and sister.

Again, stuff I'd see in the comic, but until then you're just dangling treats in front of me and trying to get me to roll over. Jerk.

I feel like I end up mocking half my characters at least somewhere in their info, usually the abilities and/or occupation section. XD

She actually wasn't that close with her family, including her brothers. Which is why she hasn't considered trying to go back, now that she's old enough to at least try, and doesn't feel guilty about not trying. Requiyen's attachment to her is mostly one-sided and wasn't even that apparent until after she left.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CiCi-Arts In reply to OMGitsSomething [2016-09-06 17:56:34 +0000 UTC]

So what's up with the sudden attachment? Is he just using his sister's disappearance as an excuse to be a brat and get whatever he wants? Or does he feel some genuine attachment to her?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

OMGitsSomething In reply to CiCi-Arts [2016-09-07 04:46:56 +0000 UTC]

It's a combination of both. He's the type of person to not be grateful for what he has until it's gone, and then he feels like he's been wronged.

Yeah, they don't live separately by forced segregation. It's more so that because of their differences in instinctive social structure; in order to survive in human society canids and other non-humans, would have to adapt to living and thinking accordingly with human social norms, which the majority of them are not willing or able to do.
