Nicely done! I would have to agree that his body seems a bit thin, but I do like the skull-like face, it would look cool with more teeth possibly, the legs have a sort of scale look, maybe you should add those shapes to the rest of its body next time? Just a suggestion.
Oh, Fire is indeed hard to draw, it takes allot of practice, best to copy real fire to get used to how it looks.
Must be cool doing commissions for this company you mention. ^^

Yeah, I changed some things now. It should look better now. I wanted to give him a sort of snake-like look, that's why he has only four teeth.
Thanks for giving a criticism!
Yes, fire is somehow like a transparent, lively creature- it's sooo hard to draw I tried to improve the firecircles a little bit, though.
Yeah, it's cool! It's my very first money that I earned thanks to my art It is not that good paid though (25$ for each picture), but for me it's great doing something like that! I also start to do some new stuff thanks to that.

Its like a living constantly changing thing, I agree.

That's mostly the reason why I agreed to take do some commissions for them. I also thought that I might have a better chance to get a full time job around here, when I already have sold some of my art and already worked in commissions...

It looks... odd. Maybe because the jaw is out of place a little on its right side. Also the odd semi-circles should be better. What are they? I can't even tell. You should revise it so they look more like whatever they were supposed to be. Maybe turn it into fire. Fire would suit this thing very well. The body and pose isn't doing much for me either, maybe fill out the chest a bit. It looks too thin. Muscle it up. Plus it looks unbalanced. Make the legs further apart.
5.5 out of 10. You can do better.

Wowow... Thank you so much for such a detailed critic, it's much appreciated!
I tried my best for those firecircles (that's what they are after all). I didn't draw much fire so far, so I'm rather unexperienced how to draw something like that
I will try to improve all those things

You're welcome. ^^ Most people find my crits to be insulting, but I'm glad you actually listened. XD But hey, practice makes perfect, and you're definitely on your way! Keep it up. ^^

Well, I think I can understand the artists who might take a critique for an insult... It can hurt when you become one, as a drawing is always something personal that someone has created over hours.
But I will try to welcome any constructive critic, no matter how bad the picture will be rated. It's the best way to get a picture much better and to learn how to do something better.
Drawing makes blind, unfortunately. That means you don't see faults in a picture while you are drawing it, even if they were grave faults. I assume that I was pretty happy how this turned out and I didn't noticed that something looks odd...
Maybe just one thing: A good critique contents both, good and bad things. Usually you start with something that is good and go on to the things that need improvment. If you mention just bad things, the artist might take it as an insult, it'll look like you totally hate the picture.
For me that's maybe not so a problem I think. I'm very happy if someone has the time to look at a picture a little bit closer and gives a constructive criticism.
btw, I have done some changes now
Sorry for such a long comment
