Those are some really peculiar ship designs. Any specific inspiration behind them? They must be made of an excellent material to be able to stay so close to the sun! And speaking of the sun, it looks pretty cool the way you painted it. Awesome job!

Mostly random, various sci fi influences, can't pinpoint anything exactly! I guess they're alien ships, only because I can't explain the functionality of the painting :') I started with random shapes, kept doing more random things, trial and error etc. It's what I do with a lot of sketches (and the main reason why I don't add details, because there are no details to add, not enough thought behind the concept itself).
