I like the hero character and background the best in step 5. Final version looks to jumbled and you can't really tell what the hero is supposed to be.

Good jorb though!

that is great to see how you did it, I quite like the techno warrior dude too, and I always liked how the snakes bent into the max logo design

hahahaha i always thought the "weapons" were some sort of "flag" type of thing you know like those flag-light thingy to help aircrafts to land but in this case the marine was guiding the snakes to hold that 3dsmax logo position hahahahah XDDD pretty nine as usual dude

you are crazy.
Just the fact that you are doing, what should be pre-viz, inside 3dsmax this way is pretty hard core.
It pays off though..
I can only strive to achieve your dedication to projects like these outside of work.

Great work sir!!! You have a genius brain, I love your idea, and you're my inspiration... PEACE!!!!
But i'm still use 3D Max 8 because my client or my partner still use it

very nice...
your rendering and texture skills are beyond me at this point.
but to give you some feedback, I liked the position of the snakes in image 3 more then the final, and absolutely love the warrior with swords and scifi elements more then marine. those, in my opinion, worked better with the snakes in the scene.. but that's just my view.
very cool work for two weeks. it took me 3 weeks of nights to model my ed209 model and I thought i pulled the miracle(3 years ago)... but you blow me away with your speed.

I wonder... do you use already created props? modify some of the previously created models? or each work is all from scratch or from CUBE in our case...

swords, pieces of armor, overall shape of a body.. say do you have something like a basic body rig that you first position and then work with making it different?

This shows heaps of interesting changes .

As a 3D Max user (of low rank I must admit), I've never wondered how much hard work had this wonderful scene on. From now on, everytime I'll open my 3D Max 9, I'll appreciate even more every pixel of that splash page ^_^

Thanks for sharing all these turns and twits on your great piece of Art, this is of unlimited value for people starting 3D composition and scene concept.

Wow. Very cool. How long did it take you to learn to use 3D Studio Max and how hard was it? I've been interested in trying my hand at it for a long time, but I'm afraid it might be too mathematical or something.

Sweet image as always but I feel like the 2 first versions (sketch and 1st 3D) were more dynamic than the end result. The sketch had a nice diagonal composition between the snakes and the guy, I feel the last one is too centered. The arced pose of the guy was interesting too IMO (but I guess it's just a difference in attitude, not really a technical issue) and the 2nd version had a nice compo for the snakes too, with their heads at a different height.
Anyway, just my

Kudos on showing your work process, wish more people did that here.

I think that the 3d forum could be way better than it is now.

Not sure if anyone ask you this but is it a complete 3D model you were working with? If so after you finished the coloring are you able to play around with the position of camera and the snakes and warriors poses?
