Description
Caption this.I did these because I liked the clouds I saw in Burbank this evening... I didn't have a story to start with, just the sky.
What do YOU think the story could be?
Just curious.

This reminds me of a Dutch song.. fits perfectly to this scene! I immediately had to think about it's lyrics.Β
The song is about someone saying goodbye to their loved one, while he is getting his suitcase and ready to get in the car.. going away, probably forever.
In case anyone is curious, here is the song i'm referring to, it's a live cover that Glennis Grace totally owned (especially the end)---> www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsoyzlβ¦
Also the (roughly translated) lyrics --->Β muzikum.eu/en/127-2341-156658/β¦
It's a gorgeous drawing, love the mood! <3

"It was the last summer they would spend together before he went away. The skyline was now dimming and reminding him of the little time left.
"Don't forget me," he said softly as the leaves rustled, slowly turning the season.
"How could I?" she said sadly as she placed a hand on his face. "This was... the most most precious summer of my life."
Or something like that. Lol

"Reunion" or "Homecoming"? The male figure somehow looks apologetic to me.

The engine of the small rental car rumbled like stomach of a starving beast. Fitting for a vessel carrying a man whose mind hungrily lapped up the foreign sights around him. Houses stood where once only forests had reigned. Had it all changed so quickly? Taking a right turn north, he saw the entryway to the old neighborhood. Nothing special. Just rows of houses lined the street, glowing lights for early risers off to work or just getting back. It was when he saw that little memento that his heart skipped a beat: a white fence. Perfect at a glance, it was riddled with small discrepancies where his inexperienced hands had driven the posts into the ground.
Home. He was finally home. Parking the car, he emptied it of his belongings and drew a deep breath. The thin mists twisting through the air felt like phantoms as he familiarized himself with his surroundings. Early morning lights painted the white fence indigo, and the whisper of falling leaves greeted his ears like an old friend. Rain had poured not much earlier, leaving the scent of the flagstone walkway fresh in his brain. As he tugged on his suitcase, he could feel a painful twitch in his left arm. The new prosthesis still glitched every now and again, snagging at the long glove he wore over it. Smiling, he cursed the damaged servos. As the mists began to disperse, he saw her: mismatched sapphire and emerald eyes peered out from a mane of thick chocolate hair.Β
She walked towards him, her smile dissolving all the aches and pains in his body. Every step she took seemed to age him back two years. By the time she reached him, he felt like he'd never even left. Holding his face and seeing the new gray undercut in his black hair, her blue eye let loose a single tear. "Welcome home." He met her gaze with his own set of violet eyes. For what felt like the first time in years, he smiled back. "I'm home."Β

This are really lovely paintings,Β
As for the story, in my mind these two paintings are different moments of the same day. The first one is in the morning where the woman knows the man is arriving at night and is happy and a hopeful, and this one being the moment the man arrives a bit early. I don't know I like happy endings-as for the caption:
