Do you use the same color always to color the lineart or you change it depending the part it is?

I use black when I do the line art originally, then I lock the layer and color the lines that way.

I use a fairly large blur and blurr the inside of the shading. This can only be done with SAI unfortunately, I've tried to Photoshop but it's blur tool isn't as strong as SAI's to do it properly >;
So, I blur inside the shading, on the very edge. This way it gives off a fading look, but the edge of the shading itself is sharper and looks better
