My new snake just came in! He is just amazing, and very active.I'm going to draw a naga version of him soon!
His name is Sterling.

Thanks! I got him from a breeder on Fauna Classifieds. Now is a great time to buy a pied, the males are selling for 200-300$ these days. The breeders can ship them anywhere in the US.

Oh wow! I was looking in the wrong spot then. I did a little reasearch and found them for more then that. Thank you! I miss having snakes in the house, when i was a kid my dad had a few. A albino boa and a res tail boa. He ended up giving them to the snake man at the zoo since he personaily knew him and knew they would get taken care of. They got too big for the house.

The market has recently dropped out from under the ball python world. Back two years ago they were actualy worth some serious money. I paid 900$ for my first male when he was just a baby. Now you can get adult females for 900$.

most breeders try to clear out their racks in October right before the weather gets too cold to ship. Keep an eye on the site, you never know when there will be someone looking to get out of snakes

Ah, I love piebalds. <3 But the thing is, they are even more rare than Albinos, and since I only have my Het Pastel and another Het, Its very unlikely I would get a Piebald by breeding them. Plus, they are so expensive... ;-; But Sterling is absolutely gorgeous.

If you have a pastel het for pied and a normal het for pied each egg has a 25% chance of being a pied. Pieds are expensive little buggers. but they are worth it.

That pattern is a 'defect' of sorts. It is a color morph (mutation) known as piebald.
