My new snake just came in! He is just amazing, and very active.I'm going to draw a naga version of him soon!
His name is Sterling.

Cute!!! I'm not a huge fan of ball pythons, but I love the piebald color phase - reminds me of the paint horses I grew up with and my two brindle & white dogs

And here is where I'm torn. I like snakes, I wouldn't mind having one as a pet, but when they tend to get 4-6 feet long??? That's frickin' INSANE! I am sorry, but I could never ever ever stand anything that...big. The only thing I think of when someone talks about having a python as a pet is watching that person get swallowed by their own snake because they were an absolute moron. Friend of my teachers had their snake swallow up their arm, sooooo...

You know 4-6 feet is very small for a python, and no one has ever been eatten by a ball python they are far too small to eat a person (even a young one).
Why would you let a snake swallow your arm? They have backwards facing teeth and you'd have to rip them out to get the snake off...injuring the snake maybe even killing it.

Don't particularly care. I mean the bigger snakes. Bigger snakes. It's six feet long, can't eat you, and that's fine, but I still wouldn't want to deal with anything that big.
Also it was accidental, the idiot had fed them using long tong type things for ages, and it was always very docile. They eventually decided it wouldn't be a problem and in their own stupidity reached in to give it the meal from their hand just once, because what harm could it cause? Fun stuff, right? Boy can people be stupid. Hence calling them 'absolute moron'.

You have a really sharp eye. In fact the breeder due to a mix up sent the brother of the one that I wanted. Howwever, I'll keep this guy since shipping is such a pain in the ass. But I'm having 'words' with the breeder for sending the wrong snake.
