FAT SQUIRREL THINGS! Also is the creature with the see-thru digestive tract a vegetarian?

You know it gets difficult to repeatedly sweep up the pieces of my mind after you keep blowing it with awesome.

Are the top two supposed to be the same character? I'm really liking the detailed vs. stylized thing. The girl on the right's got some amazing eyes. Though it's cool how you can tell it's still not completely realistic, as she's got exaggerated ears, forehead, and a couple of other features. The one on the left is pretty sweet too, her clothes and hair remind me of oil.

And those squirrelish critters? Just.. Whoa. I can hardly describe them, it's just like... So cool! Maybe it's because they look just so darn furry and cuddly looking. I'm not sure I've seen your trademark lines used to create a fur effect before, but it really works! Adore the tails.

Lady on the lower left's looking pretty darn awesome as well, and that creature with the exaggerated, stripy digestive tract just rocks. All the shiny, colourful fruit bouncing around inside its belly, and those rows of crazy teeth and rabbity eyes, and that cartoony colon it's got, this thing just owns in the bizarro department. Well done, madam!

I use the gradient tool a lot, I mean A LOT. Plus I select that little tool That looks like a checkerboard on the layer menu, it locks the layer so that every thing you do on that layer only applies to what has been colored in.
But for the stripe hair, I used the gradient tool, then I set the select tool with tolerance to like 5 or 10. THEN I selected certain area's of the hair and BOOM stripes. Then I just play with the hugh/saturation levels a bit till I like the new color.
ask me again in class, then I can draw diagrams!

I love the techniques of the two leftmost portraits. The light textures are nice. I think I like the more sublte-ness of the bottom one.
The monster's digestional track is cool too. Intestines are for losers!
