Description
EDIT 02/05/2013: Remade from scratch, now drawn in ArtRage with a slightly changed scriptKorean translation: [link]
Russian translation: [link]
Pinkie logic and Fluttershy being Fluttershy.
The comic was inspired by a clip from Simpsons I saw a while ago (it was about their heads and hair, though).
Edit 02/05/2013: Also, no one could tell me for sure if ponies have fur or hair on their body (different sources = different answers), so I added a little joke about that
Everything drawn by me in Art Rage Studio Pro 3 with a tablet. I used Ink Pen and Felt Pen tools. Lettering was done in Inkscape.

MLP, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy belong to Hasbro. Art by me.
If you repost it, please link back here (but you can't post it on DeviantArt!) | And watch me if you haven't done it yet. And if that's okay with you.

I also noticed all female ponies are like that. But only some males are like that, others DO have hooves!

Oh, and just ask a stallion in Equestria, they might give an answer.
(Geldings should work too.)
Also, "You see what I'm talking about?" - Actually, no.
I also think it's funny how the authors of the critiques don't exist anymore.

Fur is hair, theoretically but there is distinction between two.Β
Horses have hair and not fur.Β Although there is no difference between hair and fur, a horse's coat is called hair because it is not dense enough for humans to use as garments.

Well, just call it coat then.
To me it's fur and hair and you can braid a lot of awesome stuff with hairs from the mane and tail.

It's not really that difficult. But you might just skim through the comments, some people explained everything there.

It's not true that 'fur is hair'.
Let me quote you something:
"the most general distinction is that a dense coat of fine fibers is usually called fur. A less dense coat of thicker fibers like what you find on a human or a horse or a pig is usually called hair. And then, just to complicate things further, a very fine, very dense coat of fibers is often called wool, as with sheep, alpaca, and muskoxen. On the other hand, the animal with the finest, densest coat of all is probably the sea otter, but Iβve never heard their fur called otter wool β so go figure." via 'askanaturalist' website.

Has anyone noticed they never wear pants and they turn around you can see there butts but there is no hole but still it grosses me out because how are they suppost to poop they could use some pants and how do they brush there teeth when there not a unicorn because that would be pretty hard without magic just wondering.

Normal horses in real life have a cut off point between the fur on their body, and their hoofs. But the way the ponies are drawn, this border does not appear to exist, due to them being cartoon ponies. When Pinkie Pie pointed this out to Fluttershy, Fluttershy became freaked out.
So, essentially, Pinkie Pie was breaking the fourth wall.... Again.

It's hair, and as such they sweat. Creatures with fur cannot sweat to cool off and rely on panting and the like. Hair, being unidirectional and single layered, allows for more breathing and this sweating.
