The comic was inspired by a clip from Simpsons I saw a while ago (it was about their heads and hair, though).
Edit 02/05/2013: Also, no one could tell me for sure if ponies have fur or hair on their body (different sources = different answers), so I added a little joke about that
Everything drawn by me in Art Rage Studio Pro 3 with a tablet. I used Ink Pen and Felt Pen tools. Lettering was done in Inkscape.

I used "hair" originally, but people kept writing that they have fur, so then I changed it, then people started writing they have hair, so I had to put it like it is in the remake
