Description
A vector drawing of three of the main characters from The High Priest of Stardust. Purple hair, Kat ; Pink hair, Wakara ; maroon hair, Hito. Not pictured, for once, Xutswi and Sunflower.Of tangential interest : that's actually not a nipple on Kat, but rather a monotreme-like "milk" secreting patch. After hatching from their eggs, the young of orlas still need a little sustenance to help their rapidly growing brains.

Wow! For some reason this is the first thing I can remember seeing something of yours in color instead of just b/w, and can I just say, I'm totally digging it? All the colors mesh so well together, and I absolutely love the texture in Kat's hair and that great, subtle patterning in Wakara's skirt. Your ornate style translates so well into color! It fills me with joy. : D

The worst! Computers are crafty fiends, they are, pretending to work perfectly fine and then losing your favorite things. I've had that happen on my older computers, so I've set a weekly backup on my new one. Highly recommend.

That sounds like a superb idea that I'd do if I had more than one computer! As it is, I just back up obsessively on USB drives. Except, of course, i forgot to back up this one file *laughs*. That's how it always is.

Ya!!! I'm so glad you posted something here. I haven't heard from you in ages. Happy Birthday by the way. Hope your Christmas went okay. What's a good way to reach you? I feel really guilty that we haven't talked in so long.
Nice picture too. I like the fluffy look on all the wings. Unfortunately I still can't use to Illustrator yet. Trying to draw anything elaborate can get to be such a pain.

I'm available most of the time, although I get into these busy funks.
Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas to you too! *Capricorn fist bump*
Haaa~ i love illustrator so much. And detail is my friend. although that pic took me a few days! (I think a week, when I count in the changes I had to make after letting it sit to get those "fresh eyes".)

Awesome! I'll copy that email down just to make sure I have it. I got a new computer early in the year and I don't think my address book was transferred over.
My main problem with Illustrator is that when I try to do line art the program will usually move the lines around if they're close together.
I'll have to upload the painting that I made for my dad for christmas. I made it with Corel Painter IX. I'm getting much better with that program.
Whatcha been up to lately? I was getting worried when you didn't respond to an e-mail that I sent a long time ago although I'm much relieved to hear that you seem to be doing all right.
